  This week, we are thrilled to have artist Katrina Slavik as our L@ Channelled presenter this Thursday.  Born in 1992 and originally from Cincinnati, OH, Katrina currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. She has a BFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Katrina has exhibited her paintings, sculptures, and installations in New York and various other states across the East Coast.   This week, we are thrilled to have artist Ryan J. Brady as our L@ Channelled presenter this Thursday.  Ryan was born in Avenel, New Jersey in 1989. He has lived and worked in New York since 2008. Brady received a BFA in Visual and Critical Studies from The School of Visual Arts in 2012, earning The Rhodes Family Award for Outstanding Achievement in Multidisciplinary Studio Practices. In 2011 sculptor Steve Keister introduced Brady to Betty Woodman and he worked in her studio until her death in 2018, and immersion into a life organized around art-making that has informed his practice immensely. Concerned with the historical representation of women, Madeline Bohrer uses painting and digital printing to create works that examine herself through different lenses of her life. Many of her works are self-portraits that are bold and vibrant, exposing everyday contemporary life. She mixes historical found objects with layerings of colors to create mesmerizing patterns and unusual spaces.   This week, we are thrilled to have artist Sholeh Asgary as our L@ Channelled presenter this Thursday.  Born in 1982, in Tehran, Iran, Sholeh Asgary is an Iranian-American multidisciplinary artist who references lens based media through sculpture, painting, installation and sound. Asgary earned her BA from San Francisco State University in 2007, studied at the Accademia di belli Arti in Florence, Italy in 2004, and received her MFA in from Mills College in 2011.
